KEY INGREDIENTS
AHA FACIAL PEEL (Step 1):
Lactic acid — this aggressive alpha-hydroxy acid promotes youthful skin cell turnover and breaks apart dead cell buildup. Chemical exfoliation works to diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles, improve texture, and reduce the appearance of pores.
AHA FACIAL PEEL NEUTRALIZER (Step 2):
Avena sativa (oat) kernel extract — rich in the antioxidant compound avenanthramides, this extract exhibits exceptional calming properties that soothe the skin and reduce topical sensitivity.
USAGE
Use in place of the 180˚ Cell Renewal Fluid three times weekly after cleansing and toning. Gently swipe one AHA Facial Peel pad over face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Allow the solution to remain on the face for at least 10 minutes, then gently swipe one AHA Facial Peel Neutralizer pad over the face. Follow with your Nu Skin daily moisturizer.

Sunburn alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.

The hydroxy acid concentration of a product does not necessarily reflect optimum efficacy. The true measure of hydroxy acid efficacy is its free acid content. Published scientific literature demonstrates that most hydroxy acid benefits are directly related to high free acid levels, and the free acid content is dramatically affected by the pH level of the product—the lower the pH, the higher the free acid content. For example, a product containing 10 percent hydroxy acid at a pH of 5.5 has less than 1 percent free acid. Reducing the pH level to 4.5 increases the free acid to 3 percent. Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel and Neutralizer contain 10 percent hydroxy acid at a pH of 3.5, delivering a free acid level of 8 percent.

AHA Facial Peel and Neutralizer can be used with any system or product except an exfoliating formula like ageLOC Future Serum, which may cause sensitivity in some skin types. Please note: some individuals have experienced irritation on the neck. If this occurs, rinse the skin after AHA Facial Peel Neutralizer has dried and use only once per week.
Do I have to use Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel with the Neutralizer?
Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel and Neutralizer were formulated to be used together. Not using both products may result in unnecessary irritation or diminish product benefits.
Why does Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel and Neutralizer have a “Sunburn Alert”?
The FDA recommends this general warning be provided on any product that contains alpha-hydroxy acids because this efficacious anti-aging ingredient is also known to increase skin sensitivity to UV radiation. Thus, Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel should be used in conjunction with Nu Skin 180° UV Defense Hydrator Broad Spectrum SPF 18 or a similar Nu Skin moisturizer with broad-spectrum sun protection.
